Spent the entire day drafting a new poem, which means I'll buy anyone willing to do my Arabic homework for tomorrow's class a beer. Really, it's an easy assignment -- I'm just exhausted...

By mail: my son's food shipment (some vegetables can't be found here to puree and blend), along with a boxful of books -- perhaps twenty or more -- for review. In coming weeks, I'll be putting together the subject for my West Branch essay.

In the meantime, folks are reading me, at least for April 25. Many thanks to the good folks at Poetry Daily for featuring "The Peninsula" as today's selection. Heads up: PD is in the midst of its annual fundraising efforts and is currently accepting donations.
